How to tie it
- 1Keep the braid under tension (rod tip, teeth, or a knot tool).
- 2Weave the leader over-and-under the braid ~20 times, alternating direction.
- 3Cinch the coils tight onto the leader.
- 4Lock it with several half-hitches around both lines, then a final hitch around the braid only.
- 5Wet, snug everything, and trim both tags.

- Braid not kept tight while weaving
- Skipping the locking half-hitches
