A strong, slim braid-to-leader knot that's easier than the FG — great when leader is much heavier than braid.

How to tie it
- 1Make a loop in the leader and pass the braid through it.
- 2Wrap the braid up over the doubled leader 7 times, then back down 7 times.
- 3Feed the braid back out through the leader loop (same side it entered).
- 4Wet it and pull all four ends to seat; trim tags.
Common mistakes
- Uneven wraps
- Exiting the wrong side of the loop
When not to use it
Very similar line diameters — a double uni is simpler there.
