Double Uni Knot
Joins two lines — the easiest reliable braid-to-fluorocarbon leader connection for most anglers.

How to tie it
- 1Overlap the two lines by about 6".
- 2With one line, tie a Uni knot around the other (wrap braid 5–6 times, mono 4).
- 3Repeat with the second line around the first.
- 4Wet both knots and pull the standing lines so the two knots slide together and seat.
- 5Trim both tags close.
Common mistakes
- Too few braid wraps (slips)
- Not seating the two knots tightly together
When not to use it
When you need the thinnest possible connection through the guides — use an FG.
