How to tie it
- 1Double about 6" of line and pass the loop through the hook eye.
- 2Tie a loose overhand knot with the doubled line (hook hangs in the middle).
- 3Pass the hook completely through the loop.
- 4Wet it and pull both ends to cinch down neatly; trim the tag.
Common mistakes
- Not passing the hook fully through the loop
- Lines crossing inside the knot
When not to use it
Very large lures that won't fit through the loop.
